What Prenatal Massage Is
Prenatal massage is massage therapy adapted to pregnancy: gentler positioning, side-lying support with cushions, and pressure suited to how your body is changing. It may help ease the low back and hip aches that come with carrying differently, settle disrupted sleep, and give you an hour where nothing is asked of you.
Every session starts with how the pregnancy is going. What felt fine last month may not this month, so the work adapts visit to visit. If low back pain is what brought you here, you're in the most common company there is.

What a Prenatal Session Looks Like
The setup takes a little longer than a standard massage, because comfort is the whole foundation.

A Short Intake
How the pregnancy is going, anything your midwife or doctor has flagged, and what's bothering you most this week. - 2
Getting Positioned
Side-lying with cushion support, arranged until you're comfortable enough to properly relax. We adjust as often as you need. - 3
The Treatment
Gentle, focused work through the areas that need it, at a pressure that feels right. You can change position any time. - 4
Afterwards
Water, a slow get-up, and if it helped, we can set a rhythm of visits through the trimesters.
